IMG_3243.jpg They are officially underway! I went down to help the crew off the dock at 4pm tonight. They we taking care of a few last minute details. I managed to spy 2 dishes of apple crisp, so I guess it’s safe to say there is no need to feel sorry for them on Thursday. I helped get rid of the power cord and dock lines. They officially left at 5:22pm eastern. The wind was around 15 (but it felt like more in the ~40º temperature) but from behind, so they’ll have an excellent sail tonight. The moon is also close enough to full that it was nice and bright. Should make for some wonderful watches tonight. I really wish I could have gone, but with Nikki pregnant, Thanksgiving, and Nikki’s birthday I had to stay home.
