It’s been a long day.

It took us about 27 hours to slog the 175 miles back to Bermuda through
headwinds, squalls and ugly seas. We got in about 1330. Peter has seen the
doctor and cannot continue with us because of the possibility of infection.
He will be flying out tomorrow and our son, Ben, will be flying in to join
us for the rest of the trip.

We’ll write again tomorrow with all the details. Meanwhile: goodnight from
the really tired crew of avalanche–and may the Patriots win!

Hope you get better soon Peter. Sory to hr that you guys are having such a troublesome trip at the moment but tomorrow will bring the rising of a new sun and a fresh day. Hope everything turns out to be ok.
