We were south of Bermuda and had very light wind.  We opted to enjoy a slow sail, rather than motoring and getting into Bermuda at night.  But the wind filled in and we were able to by pass Bermuda and make it to Jamestown!" rel="lightbox[set_7]" >

We call the forward sail the Whomper after the sail used in the movie Wind.  It is basically a code 0 spinnaker made out of Dacron.   It is flying here at about 50 degrees apparent and with our stay sail and  full main, we have a good ride going." rel="lightbox[set_7]" >

The water is cleaner than any swimming pool you have ever been in.  If you put your face in the water and open you eyes you can see the rays of the sun as they disappear in the blue depth 150 -200 feet below you.  No one could pollute the ocean once he or she has done this....
